Why I Can’t Smell My Scented Candle?
This one question tops our list, a lot of people complain that they can’t smell the fragrance in their room. To help them out we simply asked what they were doing with their candles, so it came out that some were burning the candle for just 15-20 min that too in a large room and immediately extinguished the candle when they couldn’t smell the fragrance. First of all, you need to burn a scented candle for a minimum of two hours before judging the fragrance, the second option could be try to burn it in a small room and then check the fragrance.

Tunneling in candles is very common, it is also known as a “melt ring”. It happens when a candle burns only from the center creating thick wax residual around the walls of a jar candle or a pillar candle because the wax did not melt all the way across the edges. To prevent tunneling in any candle, let your candles burn for at least one hour per inch of the diameter and let the wax melt pool reach across the edges.
Why Soy Candles are Expensive than Normal Candles?
Soy candles are made of soy wax, which is a vegetable wax produced from the oil of soybeans. Soy wax is natural, biodegradable, has a strong scent throw and lasts for twice as compared to an average paraffin wax candle. The natural properties and premium quality make soy candles a little expensive than average scented candles but they’re surely worth the price.
Are All Soy Wax Candles the Same?
No, not all soy wax candles are the same. Some candle brands mark their candle as “soy candles” by just using 51% soy wax and 49% chemical wax blends. Not only they use other waxes but they also include metal core wicks along with chemical fragrance oils, whereas a pure organic soy candle is supposed to have 100% soy wax and natural essential oils.
How To Remove Remaining Wax From The Container Once The Candle Is Over?
Once the candle is over, use a butter knife to scrape out the leftover wax from the container. Place the jar in the sink and fill it with hot water, let the water sit for 2-3 minutes then pour water in the sink and wipe off the jar with a cloth.
